Smith Leonard's February newsletter Furniture Insights reports sales of US residential furniture increased in the last two months of 2009, with December 2008 sales 21 per cent lower than 2007, deeming the December 2009 increase of 12 per cent over 2008 (in their words) "a move in the right direction."
