The US division of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC-US) is developing a global forest registry to help companies identify sources of responsibly harvested wood. Sustainable furniture designers worldwide are invited to submit their work for consideration in HauteGREEN 2006 to be held in Brooklyn, NY, May 20-22. Designers working at long distances from New York need to address the environmental impact of transporting their submission to the venue. Deadline: April 7, 2006.
