Herman Miller Inc. reintroduces George Nelson's 1958 furniture series that features curved swag-formed metal legs. The process of rotary swaging incorporates radial hammering from one or more opposed dies to taper the cross-sectional area of a metal tube along its length. Having developed and left the UK's 100% Design and 100% East, Ian Rudge and Jimmy MacDonald have founded Tent London (September 20-23, 2007) to feature contemporary design talent. Located at the Truman Brewery site in East End London, the new show will consist of professionally vetted events on themes, where exhibitors choose the space and events that best suits their needs.
