- Instructed sculpture workshops for students working in non-traditional media: thermoplastic, non-ferrous metals, laminated timber and polyester resin.
- Participated with other faculty in the development of new curriculum initiatives that focussed on individual student development, small seminar groups, technical training and tutorials.
- Developed introductory training programs for safe use and operation of basic hand and machine tools.
- Liaised with plastic manufacturers (Germany) and laser cutting machine developers (U.K.) to provide students with advanced technical information, materials and supplies.
- Designed and manufactured custom plastic forming equipment that enabled students to produce large-scale sculpture projects in plastic and wood (in co-operation with Neon Products Ltd. and Lochead Haggerty Ltd.)
- Organized and curated exhibitions of student art work.
- Taught design component of first year foundation program: technical drawing, colour, form/function, proportion, structure, modeling and human factors.
- Established courses and workshops in creative thinking and problem solving, using various techniques: brain storming, lateral thinking, humour, random juxtaposition, perceptual experiments and linear trap avoidance.
